Executive Director - AustCham Singapore

Cultivate is partnering with AustCham Singapore to appoint their next Executive Director — a high-impact leadership role at the centre of the Australian business community in Singapore.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-established not-for-profit, member-based organisation, where success is defined not just by revenue, but by community, connection, and long-term impact. You'll shape the strategic direction, strengthen partnerships, and ensure the organisation continues to deliver meaningful value to its members.

The Role

Reporting to the Board, you will lead both the strategy and day-to-day operations of AustCham Singapore. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances purpose and commerciality across membership growth, partnerships, events, and financial sustainability.

You will be the face of the organisation, building deep relationships across Singapore and Australia while strengthening a highly engaged business community.

Key Focus Areas

• Set and deliver the Chamber's strategic direction in partnership with the Board.
• Drive membership, sponsorship, and revenue streams to support a sustainable model.
• Lead and develop a small, high-performing team.
• Represent AustCham at events, with stakeholders, and in public forums.
• Build and nurture relationships across corporate, government, and community networks.

About You

You are a commercially minded leader who understands how to operate within a not-for-profit, member-driven environment. You're comfortable balancing purpose with performance, and enjoy working in a small, agile organisation where impact is visible. You bring:

• A strong understanding and/or an interest in the Australian business landscape in Singapore/APAC.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders across corporate, government, or not-for-profit sectors.
• A track record of driving strategy, growth, and organisational impact.
• Confidence in representing an organisation publicly and building partnerships.
• A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach.
