Job Description
The successful candidate will be attached to the Property & Casualty Commercial Line claims section which handles claims such as Work Injury Compensation claims, Public Liability & Property damage claims.
Job Responsibilities
- Acknowledge receipt and register all commercial line claim submissions received from intermediaries/policyholders/third parties within given timelines
- Clear central email inbox & file both hardcopy & soft copy correspondence received
- Monitor & ensure accuracy in the daily work injury compensation (WICA) claims transmission reports to/received from the Ministry of Manpower
- Handle administrative tasks relating to WICA, including the generation of internal monitoring reports, processing payment of medical report fees, outgoing registered mails, etc
- Liaise with our service providers including third party administrators on the submission of information/documents & other claims related matters
- Handle incoming general enquiries received via the WICA Hotline/Hotmail
- Record recoveries received in the claim files & liaise with Finance on creation of debit notes
- Assist the claims team in IT/system related issues & user acceptance testing where required
- Assist the claims team in administrative tasks relating to internal or external audits where required
- Assist in conducting service quality review on our service providers/third party administrators
- Generate monthly and ad hoc claims reports
- Handle or participate in any other tasks or projects as required by the company
Qualifications
- Min Diploma in any field
- Must have BCP & ComGI
- Minimum 2 to 3 years administrative experience.
- Must be detailed oriented & comfortable working within tight deadlines
- Positive work attitude and good team spirit
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Those with insurance background will have an added advantage.
