We are looking for an Executive Chef to join our team!
As an Executive Chef, we rely on you to:
- Be in charge of leading the Culinary division to ensure operational efficiency, driving quality standards, whilst ensuring a high level of staff engagement
- Create and develop menus and recipes
- Build collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure the best price and quality is achieved when purchasing food
- Maintain the highest food quality and sanitation standards
- Ensure the ultimate guest experience in the resort
- Drive high standards of food preparation in order to increase profitability of the resort
- Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division
We are looking for someone who:
- Has formal or professional certifications in Culinary Arts
- Must have experience working in either a restaurant or a hotel/resort environment
- Exhibit strong leadership, organisational and team building skills to lead and oversee Culinary operations
- Maintain deep knowledge and updates of latest food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Understand budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and menu engineering
- Detail-minded, creative and has the ability to drive and lead change
- Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
