Executive (Retail Systems) - 1 Year Contract
Are you a detail-oriented coordinator who thrives in fast-paced project environments We are looking for an Executive (Retail Systems) to join our team for a key 1-year contract, driving the end-to-end deployment of front-end technology initiatives.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain deep, hands-on experience in system migration, cross-functional project management, and large-scale UAT within a major retail network.
Job Description
- Drive and manage the smooth transition and deployment of front end system related projects.
- Liaise with IT Project Managers to ensure all deliverables are on schedule and escalate critical failure points to management
- Monitor stores feedback after rollout and identify key issues for targeted follow up actions/enhancements
- Participate in key cross-functional projects and work with relevant stakeholders to develop
- Project & UAT Support — Coordinate, support and execute User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario development, defect tracking, documentation and business readiness assessment.
- Implementation — Support implementation planning and operational readiness for new solutions, ensuring requirements, risks, procedures and supporting materials are properly prepared and handed over to the relevant stakeholders before deployment.
- Ensure all functionalities and end-to-end UAT are passed with proper documentation being maintained and end users are equipped with user guides and training to facilitate the rollout of new initiatives before deployment to stores
- Continuously look at existing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure smooth rollout and prompt resolution of issues in the live environment
- Oversee daily operational support on all project-related matters for stores and ensure timely response and closure of production issues and feedback
- Ensure training guides are regularly upgraded with relevant functionalities
Job Requirements
- Degree in any discipline, preferably in Business or Business Info Systems. A Diploma with relevant working experience is also welcome.
- Knowledge in Project Management and UAT is required
- Working experience in the retail industry is preferred
- Candidate should be comfortable working with different types of systems and having experience in system migration exercises is preferred.
