Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This role delivers high‑level executive administrative support to the General Manager and the Executive Office, requiring prior experience supporting senior leadership and the ability to anticipate executive needs in a dynamic hospitality environment. Serving as an extension of the Executive, the Executive Assistant manages confidential information with the highest level of discretion, exercises sound judgment, and ensures seamless coordination of executive priorities, communications, and administrative operations in alignment with Marriott's core values and service culture.

Greet persons entering the office, determine the nature and purpose of visits, and direct or escort them to the appropriate destination in a professional and welcoming manner. Open, read, prioritize, and prepare responses to routine correspondence, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper attachment of relevant documentation. Take, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and follow‑up communications to appropriate hosts.

Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and maintain organized electronic and paper‑based filing systems for records, reports, and confidential documents. Prepare letters, memoranda, presentations, and reports using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. Enter, retrieve, and update information in computer databases to support executive and operational needs and respond to guest or business inquiries.

Operate standard office equipment including telephone systems, facsimile machines, photocopiers, and electronic peripherals. Document and communicate all guest requests or complaints to appropriate departments, ensuring consistent follow‑through and adherence to Marriott service standards and an exceptional guest experience.

Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
