Job Summary:

The Executive Assistant to the Director - Strategic Initiatives will play a crucial role in supporting the Director with the management and execution of strategic projects. This includes contributing to thePermanent Improvement Program, overseeing IT initiatives, and facilitating corporate and international expansion efforts. The role is pivotal in transforming the company into a data-driven organization and integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into its operational framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the implementation of the Permanent Improvement Program, aligning projects with operational excellence and long-term strategic goals. Use AI tools selectively to enhance efficiency in process optimization and data analysis.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for IT strategy, ensuring that technology initiatives support business objectives. Oversee key IT projects, integrating AI solutions where they provide significant value, particularly in data management and analytics.
  • Oversee IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope, and facilitating communication between technical teams and senior management.
  • Manage and coordinate international expansion efforts, including market research, strategy development, and execution of entry plans.
  • Research and manage the application process for grants, subsidies, and tenders, preparing detailed proposals and ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Handle corporate communications with government bodies, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of contracts and service agreements, reflecting the company's interests and legal standards.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans for international market expansion, including IT infrastructure setup and support.
  • Schedule and manage the Director's calendar, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization of commitments.
  • Attend meetings and conferences with or on behalf of the Director, taking minutes and action points.
  • Spearhead initiatives to transform the company into a data-driven organization, employing AI tools for data optimization and strategic insights.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate ESG principles, ensuring they are at the forefront of business decision-making and practices.
  • Drive projects under the Permanent Improvement Program that align with ESG commitments and data optimization strategies.
  • Manage IT projects focusing on infrastructure for data collection, analysis, and ESG reporting.
  • Coordinate international expansion efforts, incorporating data analytics and aligning with globalESG standards.
  • Facilitate applications for grants, subsidies, and tenders related to data and ESG projects.
  • Develop and oversee communications related to the company's data and ESG policies and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain documentation and reports tracking the company's ESG criteria and data utilization performance.

Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a successful track record in IT projects, particularly those involving the use of AI tools and technologies.
  • Strong expertise in data-driven strategies and proficiency in using AI tools to enhance business insights and decision-making.
  • Experience in managing international business operations or expansion projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in creating strategic documents, proposals, and reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving data-centric transformations within an organization, leveraging AI tools and data analytics for business insights and decisions.
  • Knowledge of ESG reporting standards, sustainability practices, and experience in integrating these into business operations.
