Role Purpose

We are seeking Execution Traders to be based in our Singapore office. The role focuses on executing arbitrage and basis strategies for one of our funds during the London trading session.

Working Hours: 4:30 pm – 1:30 am (Singapore time)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute arbitrage and basis trading strategies efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor market conditions and pricing discrepancies across asset classes.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and quantitative teams to implement trading strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to risk limits and trading protocols.

Qualifications

Experience Required

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in arbitrage strategies across asset classes is preferred.
  • Exceptional candidates with a strong theoretical foundation in financial markets may also be considered.

Knowledge & Skillset Required

Candidates should demonstrate a solid grounding in the following financial concepts:

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, including their uses, pricing, advantages, and limitations
  • Basic knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) products
  • Fixed income pricing fundamentals
  • Equity derivatives pricing
  • Core concepts of arbitrage and basis trading
  • Understanding of options and other derivatives, including payoffs
  • Basic understanding of macroeconomics
  • Strong fundamentals in data analysis
  • Working knowledge of coding (any relevant programming language is a plus)
