About the role

As an Excavator Operator, you will play a crucial role in the construction activities within Singapore. This full-time position requires skilled operation of excavation equipment to support various construction projects. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient use of excavators to excavate, load, and move materials as needed.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate excavators in a safe and responsible manner to complete construction tasks
2. Interpret work orders, blueprints, and site plans to carry out excavation activities
3. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the excavator to ensure optimal performance
4. Communicate effectively with the construction team to coordinate excavation work
5. Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
6. Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment usage

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in the construction industry
2. Certification in operating excavators (BCA SECK) and other relevant certification
3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
4. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
6. Commitment to safety and a strong focus on quality work
7. Good communication and teamwork skills
