Job Description

The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) is the national trade union of employers, representing more than 3,900 employers and the interests of all sectors of the economy. In the tripartite system, SNEF is the body representing employers and it aims to be the trusted partner of the National Trades Union Congress representing the labour movement, and the Ministry of Manpower representing the Government.

SNEF's vision is to help organisations achieve sustainable growth that is supported by responsible employment practices. Therefore, the federation aims to strengthen industrial and labour relations through advancing tripartism and responsible employment practices. The Event Specialist supports the Member & Corporate Relations department in managing administrative tasks and organising events, meetings, and conferences. The candidate should be meticulous and detail-oriented, able to thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment and be able to work operate independently while collaborating effectively within a team structure.

This is a 2-year contract role with provision of extension yearly based on performance.

Responsibilities:

1) CRM & data management

  • Day-to-day administration and maintenance of our CRM system. Processing member information and billing, ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and well-maintained.

2) Member engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members through regular engagement, timely follow-ups, and responsive support.

3) Event planning, execution &reporting

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events end-to-end. From concept and scheduling to logistics, budgeting, and post-event follow up and evaluation. Track event outcomes and prepare post-event summaries and reports for internal review.

4) Support the wider team

  • Take on projects and tasks as assigned by the reporting officer, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach to shared objectives

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in planning and coordinating meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in handling data and information.
  • Proven experience in managing external vendors, including sourcing and negotiating contracts
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and beyond standard office hours when required (off-in-lieu will be provided).
  • Familiar with CRM systems and Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
