The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, sales, and flawless execution of private events across the group's restaurants, bars, and venues.
This role combines sales leadership, client relationship management, and operational excellence to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing event revenue and brand impact.
Working closely with culinary, operations, and marketing teams, the Events Manager ensures every event reflects the group's commitment to world-class hospitality, creativity, and precision execution.
What you'll be doing
Event Sales & Revenue Generation
- Drive private dining and event sales across all venues within the group.
- Respond to inbound event enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Develop bespoke proposals, menus, and event concepts aligned with client needs.
- Maintain a strong events pipeline and sales forecast.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual event revenue targets.
- Identify new revenue opportunities including:
- Corporate events
- Brand collaborations
- Weddings and celebrations
- Product launches
- Buyouts and large format events
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all event clients from enquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies.
- Conduct venue showings and client tastings.
- Provide expert guidance on menus, layouts, entertainment, and guest experience.
- Ensure clear communication of all event details across internal teams.
Event Planning & Execution
- Manage full event lifecycle:
- Enquiry
- Proposal
- Contracting
- Planning
- Execution
- Post-event review
- Prepare detailed event orders and conduct briefs for operations teams.
- Coordinate closely with:
- Culinary teams
- Restaurant management
- Beverage programs
- Marketing and PR
- Be present onsite to ensure seamless event execution.
Operations Coordination
- Ensure operational feasibility of event concepts.
- Manage logistics including:
- Seating layouts
- Staffing requirements
- AV and production
- Entertainment
- Decor
- Work with restaurant managers to maintain service excellence during events.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Prepare event budgets, proposals, and contracts.
- Monitor event profitability and cost controls.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM or event management system.
- Ensure deposits, payments, and billing are processed according to company policy.
