Job Summary
Join as an Events Manager to plan and execute B2B trade events across Asia, supporting European trade delegations and driving market development through research, outreach, and logistics coordination.
Responsibilities
- Conduct secondary research on industry sectors across Asian markets to identify opportunities and trends
- Build and maintain comprehensive databases of companies and trade bodies through internet research and phone outreach
- Design and execute targeted email campaigns to promote upcoming trade events and engage stakeholders
- Coordinate logistics and manage operations for marketing events and trade delegation visits to ensure smooth execution
- Arrange and facilitate trade meetings between European delegations and Asian partners to foster business connections
- Supervise and manage interns and temporary staff on a project basis to support event delivery
- Manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines with strong multitasking and follow-up skills
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, vendors, and partners to enhance collaboration
- Demonstrate independence, a proactive Can Do attitude, and effective teamwork in a small team environment
- Travel within Asia and Europe as required to support event execution and client engagements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, preferably in business, hospitality, or event management
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B events, market research, or related fields
- Strong internet research skills and effective business writing abilities
- Proficient telephone communication and general conversation skills
- Knowledge of Asian and European languages is advantageous but not essential
