Events Manager (Immersive Events & Experiences)

Avventura is a creative-tech studio working at the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. We design and deliver immersive experiences including XR (VR/AR/MR), interactive installations, exhibitions, and live events for brands, cultural institutions, festivals, and public audiences.
We are looking for a motivated Events Manager to support the planning and delivery of live events and immersive activations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the ground, working closely with creative and technical teams to bring ambitious ideas to life.
What You'll Do
Event Support & Execution
- Support end-to-end planning and execution of events, exhibitions, showcases, and immersive activations
- Assist with event schedules, production timelines, and logistics coordination
- Support venue setup, rehearsals, technical runs, and on-site operations
- Be present during event days to assist with crowd flow, guest experience, and troubleshooting
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with vendors, venues, partners, and internal teams
- Assist in preparing production documents, run sheets, and briefing materials
- Help manage equipment logistics, transport, setup, and teardown
- Provide post-event support including documentation and reporting
Operations & Administration
- Assist with permits, insurance documentation, and safety requirements
- Support inventory tracking and basic budget administration
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail
Who We're Looking For
You're organised, reliable, and eager to learn-comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working in dynamic environments.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have 1-3 years experience in events, exhibitions, festivals, or live productions
- Are detail-oriented with good organisational skills
- Are proactive, adaptable, and willing to get hands-on
- Communicate clearly and work well in a team
- Have an interest in arts, culture, technology, or experiential design
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Exposure to immersive, interactive, or technology-based events
- Basic familiarity with AV or technical production environments
- Experience working with public-facing or cultural events
