Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute annual strategy for the Card, including performance review of prior year initiatives, identification of key challenges, and setting measurable targets.
- Evaluate and optimize marketing fund allocation to support promotional events and rewards programmes.
- Manage contract renewals and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
2. Promotion Planning & Campaign Management
- Plan, negotiate, execute, and evaluate customer acquisition and retention campaigns to drive card membership growth.
- Design and implement loyalty and engagement initiatives to increase active member participation, including reactivation (win-back) campaigns.
- Conceptualise and deliver targeted promotional campaigns aligned with business objectives.
3. Card Operations & Performance Monitoring
- Oversee day-to-day operations of card-related activities, including sales performance tracking and campaign execution (e.g., Card Day, Double Bonus Points).
- Liaise with banking partners to support promotional activities and resolve operational matters.
- Generate and analyse periodic reports on campaign performance, customer frequency, and card usage trends.
- Manage customer enquiries and feedback through official communication channels.
- Execute and review monthly debit card promotions and direct marketing initiatives.
4. Financial Institution & Payment Partnerships
- Manage relationships with payment partners, including WeChat Pay, Alipay, UnionPay, American Express, and Visa.
- Collaborate with partners to develop attractive promotional mechanics, particularly during peak tourist seasons (e.g., Golden Week periods).
- Review and approve marketing collaterals to ensure compliance with brand guidelines across physical and digital platforms.
5. Business Analytics & Activity Development
- Conceptualise and implement special programmes to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Develop and nurture customer segments, including high-value and frequent shoppers.
- Maintain and manage customer databases, ensuring accuracy and proper record-keeping.
- Analyse store-wide and departmental sales performance contribute to business planning and strategy development.
- Evaluate effectiveness of promotional campaigns and support modelling for new initiatives.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts based on historical trends and performance data.
6. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor industry trends across economic, financial, and retail sectors to maintain a competitive edge.
- Conduct competitor analysis and track promotional activities within the retail landscape.
- Produce insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.
7. Corporate Support
- Provide support for corporate planning initiatives and management reporting.
- Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
