As an Event Technology Project Manager, your primary function will be to support the smooth and continued deployment and usage of various digital systems at over 1,000 events and campaigns that we support in a year. These events include marketing brand activations, product launches, trade show exhibitions, conferences, gala dinners and various others by corporates and government organisations.
You will do this by:
- Being a product expert across the solutions that we have
- Coordinating the resources required to ensure smooth delivery (e.g. arranging for available development hours, sourcing for materials, placing rental orders, performing device updates, etc.)
- Deploying our systems and related resources both online and on-site by setting up the appropriate equipment (e.g. laptops and routers) and configurations (e.g. background images and name lists), as well as doing testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the systems
While most of your work can be done remotely, you will be required to be present at events in Singapore when we are engaged for them, and abide by the prevailing safety management protocols while at them.
This is a full-time position that does not have an office, and has no intention for one in the near future. Working hours are not fixed but you are expected to be responsible for operationalising at events, many of which may occur on Friday nights and Saturdays.
Your job will involve:
- Getting involved. Participating in the solutioning for the events / campaigns so you understand the scope of work for each project
- Planning. Understand the steps required to achieve the successful delivery of the project
- Account servicing and project management. Liaison between the team and the client on operationalising finalised deliverables.
- Packing, preparing and being on-site at events, of which many may occur on Friday and Saturday nights
- Equipment maintenance. Ensuring that our devices are updated with the latest software and firmware.
- Systems testing. Ensuring that our system functions are working as intended after updates and customisations.
- Systems operations. Liaison with the team to ensure customisations are made. Configuration of systems. Setting up the required equipment on-site. Troubleshooting.
- Being an expert. Predicting problems that might occur given a situation, and performing pre-emptive measures.
