Role Description

The Event Sponsorship Manager / Senior Manager will spearhead sponsorship development, partnership engagement, and commercial collaborations across our event portfolio. You will be instrumental in building long-term relationships, shaping sponsorship offerings, managing partner deliverables, and supporting the development of new programmes and activations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, secure and manage event sponsorships, partnerships, and brand activations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors, partners, agencies, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams marketing, content, operations, sales to ensure all sponsor deliverables and entitlements are met.
  • Support the planning and creation of event features, thematic zones, and new programmes designed to attract and engage sponsors.
  • Prepare sponsorship proposals, decks, packages, and other marketing materials.
  • Track project timelines, manage sponsor requirements, and ensure smooth coordination through all phases of the event cycle.
  • Review sponsorship outcomes, gather partner feedback, and support renewals or long-term engagement strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential partners, new category opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to commercial planning and growth initiatives for the event portfolio.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline; Business, Marketing, Event/Hospitality/Management preferred.
  • 58+ years of experience in sponsorship, partnerships, business development or account management ideally within events, exhibitions, media, or advertising.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to craft compelling sponsorship proposals and tailor packages to partner needs.
  • Good project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple timelines concurrently.
  • Commercial mindset, proactivity, and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Flexible work attitude, with willingness to commit to event days (which may include evenings/weekends), and to travel or work irregular hours as needed.
