1. Job Description
. Prepare and provide responses for tender bidding, submission of relevant costs spreadsheets and profitability analysis.
. Managing contractual claims to protect commercial interest.
. Prepare requests for proposals for distribution to vendors.
. Analyze all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
. Ensure that contracts are executed in accordance with guidelines.
. Analyze a contract's risk to the business.
. Visit client sites and meet with business partners.
. Communicate contract implementation to team members and other internal stakeholders.
. Lead complex contract negotiations and manage all changes and addendums to existing contracts.
. Ensure that all raw material used meets the specified requirements.
. Prepare reports on the status of contracts for the Management
. Establish margins for overheads and profits in tender sums.
. Drive cost planning and control.
2. Administrative works
. Communicate payment regime to relevant stakeholders.
. Attend project meetings.
. Prepare valuations for interim payments and/or recommendation for payment to contractors, specialists and sub-contractors including recommendations for payment.
. Measure variation of cost claims.
. Prepare final accounts and/or relevant pricing variations.
3. Team Management
. Establish good working rapport with colleagues, to improve work processes, productivity and hit rate of tenders.
. Ensure that team members have a complete understanding of the project scope of works.
. Conduct/participate at briefings and regular meetings.
Requirement:
. Good communication skill is needed for discussion with both internal and external members, such as the sales, designer, production, operations, subcontractor, and suppliers.
. Familiar with the use of MS applications, such as Words, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
. Conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
. Independent, positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility.
. Prior project management experience is preferred (1-3yrs)
. Good with numbers which will be meant for computing costing and on-site measurement.
. Knowledge in filing system and processes
. Proficiency Mandarin is an advantage.
