Job Summary
Lead and manage ETL and data warehouse testing teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions. Apply deep expertise in ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, and SQL to design and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure data integrity and system performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in testing processes within Agile and CI/CD environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate ETL and data warehouse testing activities to ensure accurate and efficient data processing and reporting
- Develop and implement test strategies and plans using ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, or SSIS to validate data workflows and transformations
- Apply advanced SQL skills to write and execute complex queries for data validation across databases including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and Snowflake
- Manage and mentor testing teams, providing guidance to enhance technical skills and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Utilize test management and defect-tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, and TestRail to monitor testing progress and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align testing objectives with business requirements and Agile methodologies
- Integrate testing processes within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment of data solutions
- Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to inform decision-making and improve data quality and system reliability
