ETL Developer

Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL/ELT Development & Data Integration:

.Design, develop, and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC, PowerCenter, IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).

.Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud storage, APIs, and streaming services.

.Optimize data transformations, mappings, workflows, and parameterized sessions.

.Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions.

2. Cloud & On-Premises Data Integration:

.Work with IDMC (Informatica Cloud) to integrate data across AWS, And Databricks.

.Design data pipelines for hybrid cloud environments (on-prem to cloud migrations).

.Utilize Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Application Integration (CAI), and Data Quality (CDQ) modules.

.Leverage Informatica Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Axon Data Governance.

3. Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

.Monitor and optimize ETL/ELT jobs for performance, scalability, and efficiency.

.Troubleshoot data integration failures, bottlenecks, and error handling.

.Optimize SQL queries, session parameters, and pushdown optimization.

4. Data Governance & Security:

.Implement data quality rules, profiling, cleansing, and standardization.

.Manage role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and audit logs.

5.Collaboration & Documentation:

.Work with data analysts, business intelligence (BI) teams, and cloud engineers to ensure high-quality data availability.

.Document ETL/ELT processes, technical specifications, and best practices.

.Provide training and support to data teams on Informatica tools and cloud data integration best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

.Strong experience with Informatica IDMC, PowerCenter, IICS (CDI, CAI, CDQ), and Informatica Cloud.

.Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, databricks, Redshift).

.Experience with cloud data services (AWS Glue, Databricks).

.Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, JSON, XML, and web service integrations.

.Proficiency in performance tuning, pushdown optimization, and parallel processing.

.Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

.Bachelor in Computer Science.

.Informatica Certified Professional (ICP) or IDMC certification.

.Experience with Python, Spark, or Shell scripting for automation.
