The Company
A well-established organization in the shipping industry is currently seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join their dynamic team.

The Role
The role is responsible for end-to-end financial oversight of vessel capital and operating expenditures, ensuring accurate budgeting, accounting, and reporting in line with group policies and regulatory requirements. This includes managing vessel CAPEX through the Oracle Projects module, monitoring budget versus actual costs, coordinating with Fixed Assets for proper capitalization, and performing monthly reconciliations and accruals from project commencement to completion. The position partners closely with Technical Managers and third-party ship managers to manage annual budgets, review operating costs, analyze variances, and prepare management reports and presentations. The role also supports inventory and cost analysis, ensures compliance with financial delegations and controls, provides professional financial guidance, and drives continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, cost-saving initiatives, and enhancement of financial and operational procedures.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in finance, management, accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification, with relevant experience in the oil & gas or maritime industry. They possess a solid understanding of cost control fundamentals and accounting standards, including cost treatment across various project types. Strong proficiency in Oracle Projects, General Ledger modules, accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, SmartView, and business intelligence tools is preferred.
