Estimating Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents and engineering drawings to understand project requirements

• Provide accurate quantity and cost estimates for projects

• Clarify project details and ensure timely submissions

• Maintain records of project information and industry rates

• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive rates

• Collaborate with the estimating team and other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Mentor junior estimators and maintain company pricing databases

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical cost estimating

• Experience with competitive bidding is a plus

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding
