Lee Yin was established in Singapore in 1975, and has since grown into a leading regional apparel manufacturer and exporter. Lee Yin manufactures a wide range of apparel, such as fleece, T-shirts, sweaters, knit/woven garments, and knitted accessories. Lee Yin exports to customers throughout the world, including to leading brands like H&M, GAP, s.Oliver, GU, Carters & Desigual. As a deeply-experienced and progressive company, Lee Yin continues to streamline and develop its capabilities, which now include digital printing for fabrics and finished garments. Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Analysis - Gather and analyze environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data to assess company performance.
  • Reporting - Prepare ESG reports in alignment with recognized frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives.
  • Presentation Development - Create compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate ESG findings to management and stakeholders.
  • ESG Compliance - Ensure company practices and policies comply with ESG standards.
  • Internal Audit - Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of ESG initiatives in our operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management - Identify and mitigate ESG-related risks to ensure sustainable operations.
  • Market Monitoring - Stay informed about the latest ESG trends, standards, regulations, and news, particularly from EU regulators and the US market, to ensure the company remains ahead of industry developments.

Specifications/Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • Min. Diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint for developing professional presentation decks.
  • Knowledge of ESG Frameworks: Familiarity with GRI standards and other ESG reporting frameworks is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret ESG data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey ESG concepts.
  • 1-2 years in ESG or related fields is preferred however, candidates with relevant internships or project experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to stay updated on the latest ESG trends and best practices.
