This is a full-time role responsible for executing equity trades and supporting the firm's investment strategies and operations.
- Executing equity trades with speed, accuracy and efficiency to support the firm's investment strategies
- Monitoring market conditions and being responsible in the reporting of your trades
- Maintaining strong relationships with the trading team, brokers and counterparties
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies
- Collaborating with the broader trading and investment teams to optimise trading performance
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an equities trader or similar role in the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies and order execution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with investment managers, brokers and other stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of trading platforms, order management systems, market data tools and MS Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and prioritise tasks effectively
