Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology initiatives supporting equity trading platforms and related systems. This role bridges domain expertise with technology delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory and business objectives.

The Position:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of equity technology projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of trading systems.
  • Develop project plans, manage budgets, and track KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain documentation standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage change requests, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Communicate project status and impacts to senior stakeholders and leadership.

The Candidate:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst in Global Markets Equities/Fixed Income Trading) Technology space.
  • Strong analytical skills to drive solutions for complex business requirement (Hold the pen to draw solutions on paper and put together Business requirement documents).
  • Good understanding of trading flows / business / product knowledge (eg Delta One/Swap, Stock Lending, Cash Trading) front to back including position check, risk checks.
  • Comfortable leading meetings, putting together the delivery plan tracking implementation, risk and managing stakeholders.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills working with developers and technical leads at all levels and LOB partners; demonstrates ability to communicate and adjust level of detail and messaging based on audience.
  • Self-starter, takes ownership and follow up proactively on tasks assigned and deliverables.
  • Demonstrates strong competence with core project management tools as Tech BA/PM (Agile, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint and other office toolsets).

Good to Have:

  • It'll be a plus if you have good understanding and experience with the HK SFC Data Standards of Order Lifecycle (DS-OL) and other regulatory & Exchange Implementation.
