About the Role
We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician tosupport the maintenance and troubleshooting of automated manufacturingequipment. You will help ensure production machines operate efficiently whilemaintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and troubleshooting of automated production equipment.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing faults on automated production lines.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Support internal, external, and customer audits by preparing maintenance records and ensuring equipment compliance.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain the spare parts store.
- Complete maintenance reports and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation robotics experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime if required.
