Project Title:

Wafer Sorter tool Alarms & Robot Drifts hit rate Reduction

Project Objective:

Alarm analysis to introduce PM or early detection method in order to reduce the alarm hit rate.

Project Description:

1) To learn fundamentals of Metrology Operation

2) To understand Sorter operations and fundamentals of robot operation

3) Develop standardize workflow for alarm handling on the sorter and charaterize alarm causation

4) Understand various types of robots and functions, to develop model to detect robot faults and drifts

Project Outcome:

To intern:

- Able to understand semicon practices and understanding of Metrology equipment

- Able to understand wafer start to end practices

- Exposure to tool maintenance and CIPs for foundry operation

To company:

- Reduce alarms from sorter, minimizing additional scans and holds (10%)

- Improve fault detection to prevent total failure and increase productivity

- Fan out to rest of metrology tool sets for better productivity

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
