Equipment Engineer (Semicon / MNC)

We're looking for a technically strong and hands-on Fab Equipment Engineer to support high-volume semiconductor manufacturing in a cleanroom environment. If you thrive on solving complex equipment issues and driving performance improvements, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot advanced fab equipment (MOCVD, Lithography, E-Beam, PECVD, RIE, etc.)
• Minimize downtime and ensure maximum equipment uptime
• Drive root cause analysis (DMAIC, 8D) to eliminate recurring failures
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to improve yield, stability, and MTBF
• Implement upgrades to enhance throughput and reduce costs
• Manage spare parts and coordinate with vendors
• Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom safety and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or related)
• 3–5 years experience in semiconductor frontend manufacturing or OEM tool support
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
• Ability to read technical schematics (electrical, mechanical, P&ID)
• Team player with strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom and participating in ERT activities
