We're searching for an Engineer to be part of our Photo Equipment department diverse team of talent.
What you will be working on:
- Sustain and improve equipment performance indices to meet operations goals.
- Perform shift duties to provide 1st line technical support to production
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance competently.
- Perform level 1 trouble-shooting(e.g. basic equipment recovery)
- Perform level 2 trouble-shooting (e.g. replacement of critical components)
- Setup a system to ensure un-interrupted supply of dummy wafers/ chemicals/ coater cups.
- Control and optimize spare parts inventory to minimize cost without undue equipment down time due to parts not available
- Mentor, train and develop senior assistant engineers and below.
- Document PM/ recovery procedures and best known methods.
- Track and review machine performance.
- Forecast preventive maintenance schedule and spares/ consumables usage.
- Study and improve machine capacity and ergonomics.
- Assist in the move-in and installation of new equipment.
- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments are done timely and within specs.
- Familiar with ISO standardsrequirements and ensure that the section meets them.
- Involve in machine Part repair and R&M reduction activities for self-sufficiency.
- Research and Development with Vendor on Equipment capabilities improvement. Example. Automatic Vision improvement( AVI)
- Provide new Associate Engineers and Technician on their On-The-Job-Training
- Ensure good 6S housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab
- Establish communication channel with Mother FAB to transfer BKM and perform benchmarking.
- To participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation.
- Participate in Transform (10k idea, LSS & BKM) programs to optimize equipment utilization and PM cost.
- Execute new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hook-up, vendor start-up, to acceptance of equipment for production
- Daily RTM, SPC, alarm 3, and EMAP review.
More about you:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
1-3 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment. - Fresh graduates with keen interest to develop a career in semiconductor manufacturing environment are welcome to apply.
- Engineers 3 years experience in same field will be consider for senior position
- Basic engineering knowledge, which may include semiconductor devices theory, electronics, electrical/ pneumatic/hydraulic control system, digital principle and wafer fabrication processes.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft business applications
- Good problem-solving skills
