Our client is a leading semiconductor wafer fabrication company who also a globally recognised semiconductor technology leaders. They are looking for a CMP Equipment Engineer to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located at the East, easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Sustain and improve equipment performance, uptime, reliability, and productivity to meet manufacturing targets.
- Perform scheduled, preventive, and recovery maintenance to minimise equipment downtime and ensure stable production.
- Support shift operations and respond to equipment issues to maintain continuous manufacturing activities.
- Manage spares and consumables, including stock forecasting and inventory planning within allocated budgets.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures, operating instructions, and equipment standards.
- Lead equipment improvement initiatives to enhance capability, reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Participate in equipment installation and start-up, including facility hook-up, vendor commissioning, qualification, and production ramp-up.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting and document corrective actions and best-known methods for effective issue resolution.
- Train and mentor equipment technicians through on-the-job training and support technical capability development.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, ISO requirements, and workplace housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline Diploma holders with relevant semiconductor equipment maintenance experience are also considered.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment engineering entry-level candidates may be considered.
- Experience in high-vacuum equipment maintenance and semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment will be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes with the ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.
- Willing to perform rotating shift duties and support equipment maintenance and production requirements.
