Environmental Technician (Penjuru)

Job Description:

• Daily receiving and issuing activities

• Monitor production water consumption and waste water generation

• Oversee and monitor operation of Cu recovery systems at production machines including the waste water generated

• Receive incoming chemicals and liaise with contractors on chemical waste disposal.

• Track and update chemical safety data sheets

• Monitor operation of precious metal recovery systems

• Oversee collection of production scrap

• Oversee chemical transfer by contractors

• Assist in GHS implementation and maintenance

• Assist in ISO 14001 EMS

• Assist in energy and water conservation projects

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Higher NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related disciplines

• Minimum 1-year of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment

• Posses licence to operate forklift and reach-truck

• Know-how in lab analysis and testing
