Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analyst

At Lion Global Investors, the ESG Analyst role sits at the intersection of investing, data, and real-world impactoffering a front-row seat to how sustainability is embedded into professional asset management. You'll work hands-on with ESG data and analytics, build tools that improve decision-making and productivity, partner directly with investment teams, and participate in corporate engagement and thematic research that shapes long-term investment outcomes. This is a role for intellectually curious, analytically strong candidates who want to turn complex ESG information into actionable insights, develop in-demand technical and investment skills, and grow their career within a collaborative, high-integrity environment at one of Singapore's leading asset managers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle and deliver scheduled reports for both internal and external clients.
• Work with data to deliver analysis and insights.
• Develop tools to drive productivity gains, process improvements and further ESG integration.
• Participate in engagement with corporates.
• Assist in ESG integration work with the investment teams.
• Conduct ESG-focused research, including industry trends and other thematic analysis.

Pre-requisites:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of studies, such as sustainable finance, computer/data science, or related disciplines.
• Strong interest in ESG with familiarity in key ESG concepts; understanding of investment principles is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Power Query; knowledge of Python is a plus. Skilled in managing and manipulating large datasets with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience with ESG metrics and data platforms (e.g., MSCI ESG Manager, Glass Lewis) is an advantage.
• Results-oriented problem solver, with clear structured thinking and attention to details.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
