Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement country-specific environmental compliance strategies covering material restrictions, product regulations, packaging, batteries, energy efficiency, and restricted substances across global markets
- Review BOMs, material declarations, SDS/MSDS documents, and conformity records to ensure products, spare parts, accessories, batteries, and packaging meet applicable regulatory requirements
- Lead Extended Producer Responsibility programmes, manage regulatory submissions and declarations, support regional reporting, and coordinate responses to authority audits.
- Translate sustainability objectives into practical, compliant initiatives by identifying regulatory gaps and ensuring environmental claims and programmes are supportable across different markets.
- Liaise with government authorities, external service providers, subsidiaries, and industry associations to manage environmental compliance matters and stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements.
- Establish internal environmental standards and best practices, drive compliance improvement initiatives, and provide training and guidance to regional teams to strengthen overall regulatory capability
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering / Science
- Understanding of environmental regulations
- Experience in Consumer Electronics industry will be an added advantage
