Job Description
- Reports to the Safety Manager
- Liaise closely with authorities
- Familiar with local law and regulations
- Reviewing and approving environmental objectives and targets and assisting the Contractor in finding environmentally responsible solutions to problems.
- In charge of all environmental control programs and lead the environmental team
- Maintain proper documentation i.e. Site environmental Report, daily environmental inspection report etc.
- Conducting environmental workshops and training for the project
- In charge of pre-project planning and advice on the measures to take in areas on noise/water/air pollution control, waste/pest infestation control, and public/neighbours engagement and management
Job Requirements
- Must be a Registered ECO with NEA
- Degree/ Diploma in Environmental Engineering or other relevant subjects
- Attained Specialist Diploma in WSH or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience as ECO for LTA projects
- Experience in civil works (road and viaduct) & ASAC awards preferred
- Familiar with government regulations and legislations
- Proficient with MS Office
- Good communication skills and team player
