ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL OFFICER

Job Descriptions:

• Implement and monitor environmental management plans for construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
• Monitor and manage environmental aspects including dust, noise, water pollution, waste management, and housekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with NEA regulations and project environmental requirements.
• Prepare and maintain environmental reports, records, inspection checklists, and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities on environmental matters.
• Conduct environmental briefings and promote environmental awareness among site personnel.
• Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Support environmental audits and inspections.

Job Requirements:-

• Diploma / Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
• Possess a valid Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certification recognized by NEA.
• Must have held the ECO license for at least 5 years.
• Must possess Fundamental Course on Vector Management and Control certificate
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction environmental management.
• Experience working with A1 Main Contractors and large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEA environmental regulations, pollution control measures, and construction environmental practices.
• Familiar with environmental monitoring, waste management, noise, dust, and water pollution control.
• Able to conduct site inspections, prepare environmental reports, and coordinate with project teams, consultants, and authorities.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently.
