ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL OFFICER

Job Description & Requirements

. Work closely with the project team on environmental issues such as noise pollution, vector control, air pollution, water pollution and drainage, prevention & control of infectious diseases, food hygiene, solid waste management, chemical storage & disposal and haze response procedure

. Implement and monitor environmental, health and safety management systems at worksites

. Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements on environmental issues

. Ensure ECM plan updated regularly in lieu of site changes

. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that site activities are carried out in compliance with NEA and EHS regulations

. Liaise with NEA and relevant authorities on all environmental issues

. Support in-house environmental initiatives

. Prepare Site Environmental Control Report on a regular basis

. Participate in project environmental risk assessment and recommend environmental measures. . Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, develop environmental control plan, site clean-up plans, Safety and Health and good practice requirement at all times

. Implementation and continuous innovation on Green & Gracious best practices

Requirements

. Possess Environmental Control Officer Certificate and registered with National Environmental Agency (NEA) . Possess Earth Control Measures Officer Certificate and registered with IES

. Min 1 year relevant experience
