Job Summary
Key Accountabilities
. Market Research
o Conduct market research / environment scan and assess opportunities
o Translate key competitor, consumer and technology trends into sound business decisions
. Data Analysis
o Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify significant trends
o Utilise statistical tools to project and forecast impact of trends on Epson's sales and pricing numbers
o Conduct impact analysis to assess ROI of marketing efforts
. Customer Intelligence
o Demonstrate strong understanding of consumer needs and behavioural patterns (including end users and channel partners)
o Conduct customer segment analysis to identify appropriate products/services for different segments
Product Planning and Management
o Possess in-depth knowledge of the product specifications
o Define product strategy and develop product road map
o Track and sustain/enhance performance of product
o Manage product life cycle
. Pricing Strategy
o Understand, compare and effectively utilise a range of pricing strategies
o Develop and adapt pricing strategy based on internal and external trends
. Go-To-Market Strategy
o Formulate appropriate market strategy for product line
o Develop and implement product launch plan and timings
o Maintain oversight of campaign strategy
. Product Marketing and Support
o Develop and deliver sales and marketing tools and product documents
o Supply sales with latest research and marketing information
o Track success of sales promotion and marketing campaign for product
. New Product Launch
o Fix pricing of new product with related department and Japanese Head Quarter
o Prepare and deliver new product materials such as brochure, web contents and related documents
o Conduct product training to all related department including all SEA sales companies
