Entertainment Supervisor - Job Description
The Entertainment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily entertainment operations of the venue, ensuring performances are conducted professionally, schedules are effectively managed, and guests receive a high-quality entertainment experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the entertainment department.
Coordinate and monitor the schedules of performers, hosts, DJs, MCs, and other entertainment personnel.
Ensure performances commence and conclude according to the approved programme.
Brief performers on venue policies, performance standards, and customer service expectations.
Monitor the quality and professionalism of entertainment activities.
Assist in planning and coordinating entertainment programmes, themed events, and promotional activities.
Maintain attendance records, duty rosters, and performance schedules.
Resolve operational issues involving performers and entertainment staff promptly.
Liaise with management regarding entertainment planning, staffing requirements, and operational improvements.
Ensure compliance with licensing conditions, workplace safety requirements, and company policies.
Coordinate with operations, security, and customer service teams to ensure smooth event execution.
Handle guest feedback relating to entertainment services and escalate significant matters when necessary.
Prepare administrative reports relating to entertainment operations and staff performance.
Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating entertainment personnel.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, Arts Management, or a related field.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to supervise multiple entertainment activities simultaneously.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in hospitality, nightlife, public entertainment, or event operations is an advantage.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
