Entertainment Supervisor - Job Description

Position Summary

The Entertainment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily entertainment operations of the venue, ensuring performances are conducted professionally, schedules are effectively managed, and guests receive a high-quality entertainment experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the entertainment department.

  • Coordinate and monitor the schedules of performers, hosts, DJs, MCs, and other entertainment personnel.

  • Ensure performances commence and conclude according to the approved programme.

  • Brief performers on venue policies, performance standards, and customer service expectations.

  • Monitor the quality and professionalism of entertainment activities.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating entertainment programmes, themed events, and promotional activities.

  • Maintain attendance records, duty rosters, and performance schedules.

  • Resolve operational issues involving performers and entertainment staff promptly.

  • Liaise with management regarding entertainment planning, staffing requirements, and operational improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with licensing conditions, workplace safety requirements, and company policies.

  • Coordinate with operations, security, and customer service teams to ensure smooth event execution.

  • Handle guest feedback relating to entertainment services and escalate significant matters when necessary.

  • Prepare administrative reports relating to entertainment operations and staff performance.

  • Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating entertainment personnel.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, Arts Management, or a related field.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to supervise multiple entertainment activities simultaneously.

  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience in hospitality, nightlife, public entertainment, or event operations is an advantage.

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
