We are actively recruiting an Enterprise Security Architect to design and guide the implementation of secure, scalable IT solutions for our client. This role ensures that security is embedded into systems, applications, and hybrid/cloud environments from the start, and that all solutions follow strong security architecture principles to protect the business.
The Role
As the Enterprise Security Architect, you will be responsible for developing secure solution designs that support business needs while protecting applications, infrastructure, and data. You will work closely with technical and business teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the entire solution design and delivery lifecycle.
Your responsibilities include:
- Reviewing new technologies, identifying risks, and recommending appropriate security controls.
- Supporting architecture reviews and ensuring solutions align with enterprise security standards.
- Contributing to target-state security architecture, patterns, and roadmaps.
- Applying modern security approaches such as Zero Trust, segmentation, and identity-centric models.
- Ensuring security coverage across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments (not cloud-only).
- Documenting design decisions and clearly explaining security concepts to various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a background in cybersecurity or IT architecture, with experience designing secure solutions across infrastructure, applications, and hybrid cloud environments.
You should also bring:
- Experience in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of IAM, PAM, network security, data security, and application security.
- Ability to conduct threat modeling and architecture risk assessments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, TOGAF, or SABSA.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex security topics.
- Experience working with architecture governance or review boards.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or TOGAF are an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in security architecture or a closely related field.
Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Applicants based in Singapore are encouraged to submit their updated resume.
