We need a senior enterprise seller to lead and expand our client's data platform business in SEA. You'll carry a quota and own large, complex deals end-to-end. Day-to-day, you'll work with C-level execs — CIOs, CDOs, CTOs — to modernize their data strategy, and you'll pull in SAs, ProServe, and partners to make sure what we sell actually gets deployed and delivers value.
This isn't a run the playbook job. It's for a founder-type seller who enjoys blank-page problems, builds market momentum from zero, and can translate deep tech into boardroom impact in a region that moves fast.
What You'll Need to Bring
- A history of hunting, shaping, negotiating, and winning large, complex enterprise tech deals from first call to close
- Confidence and credibility engaging C-suite leaders and steering strategic conversations around data and AI
- 10+ years in B2B enterprise software/technology sales, carrying and consistently exceeding quota with large accounts
- 3+ years of direct field experience selling solutions across two or more areas: databases, analytics, storage, data governance, or data platforms
- The ability to sketch a modern data stack on a whiteboard, debate tradeoffs with engineers, and map customer pain points to architecture
- Experience navigating multi-country sales cycles across ASEAN or similar markets with diverse buying groups
Bonus If You Have
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or hands-on technical background
- Experience taking cloud data, analytics, or data lake offerings to market
- Exposure to open-source ecosystems like Apache Iceberg, Spark, or Postgres and how enterprises adopt them
- A track record of selling into the Office of the CIO/CDO/CTO at large ASEAN enterprises
- Experience leading deal teams across SA, ProServe, and Partners to land complex, multi-stakeholder wins
- A bias for creating — you've built new GTM motions, not just followed them
