We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to hire an Enterprise Itegration Architect to join them. You'll take ownership of the integration architecture, ensuring all systems and APIs connect seamlessly across a complex financial ecosystem. This is a hands-on, strategic role - ideal for someone who enjoys solving enterprise-level challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of integration solutions using IBM ACE and IBM MQ.
- Develop API-led connectivity frameworks and reusable ESB patterns.
- Champion best practices around security, automation, and performance optimisation.
- Drive the use of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps across integration development.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability of integration platforms.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to integration engineers.
Requirements
- Around 15 years experience in IT, including at least 10 years working with IBM ACE / MQ in large enterprise setups.
- Strong grasp of integration design principles, ESB architecture, and messaging protocols (SOAP, REST, JMS, AMQP).
- Experience managing high-availability environments and complex deployments.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) and Git version control.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- IBM certifications are an advantage.
