Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will be the tactical engine (70%) and strategic architecture (30%) driving our migration from legacy infrastructure to a secure, Python-powered, AI-native ecosystem.

about the job

• Lead the end-to-end Decom of outdated hardware/software, migrating mission-critical systems (WMS, SAP, Supply Chain) to a resilient Hybrid Cloud.
• Establish guidelines for GenAI and Prompt Engineering. You will promote open-source adoption and ensure our in-house Python development meets elite DevOps and secure-coding standards.
• Act as the ultimate escalation point for the 30+ person IT department (Infra, Network, App Dev). You bridge the gap between high-level business growth and granular technical stability.
• Embed secure-by-design principles into every layer of the new architecture, from network resiliency to disaster recovery.

skills and experience required

10+ years in IT with a heavy bias toward Software Engineering (Python is non-negotiable). Proven track record in SAP, WMS, and IoT integration within fast-paced Supply Chain or eCommerce environments.
