My client in the banking sector is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the modernization of core business applications and drive digital transformation efforts across the organization.
As a key member of the Enterprise Architecture Team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups to revamp legacy systems, integrate cutting-edge technologies, and define architectural standards that ensure a scalable and future-ready IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to modernize and secure legacy application architectures.
- Provide architecture guidelines, patterns, and best practices for both internal and customer-facing banking platforms.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end technical design, development, deployment, and operation of new enterprise applications.
- Mentor and guide development teams through complex design and implementation challenges.
- Lead the development of technology governance frameworks and ensure adherence to IT policies and standards.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to support enterprise-wide digital transformation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years in the financial industry, including 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Proven success in modernizing complex enterprise applications.
- Strong experience in microservices architecture for mission-critical systems.
- Expertise in Java and .NET for multi-tier application development.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle and MS-SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with IBM middleware tools (e.g., MQ, IIB, IWA, Instana).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (APIM, Functions, Logic Apps, SQL DB) is a plus.
- Experience developing and supporting customer-facing banking portals.
- Deep understanding of financial industry regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of security architecture and best practices.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining enterprise IT governance frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
