A fast-growing enterprise SaaS and AI company is expanding into APAC and is hiring for a Senior Account Executive. You'll own and grow the APAC territory from Singapore selling complex SaaS solutions into enterprise level clients. This is a quota-bearing, strategic role requiring executive-level influence, deal orchestration across regions, and close partnership with remote Product, Engineering, and PostSales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary APAC GTM lead: shape regional strategy, priorities, and early operating norms.
- Manage end-to-end sales for mid-market and enterprise accounts across APAC
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders (CMO, CTO, CIO, Head of Ops, etc.).
- Develop account strategies and tailored solutions that map product value to customer business outcomes.
- Consistently generate new pipeline through sales activity, partner/channel engagement, events, and referrals.
- Lead complex procurement and contracting processes, coordinating internal technical, legal, and customer success teams.
- Track and report forecast, sales activity, and market intelligence; use insights to adapt approach and win deals.
- Stay current on competitive landscape, regional market dynamics, and product developments.
- Run strategic discovery workshops and ROI/value assessments to quantify business impact and accelerate decision-making.
- Run rigorous discovery, pilots and proofs-of-value tied to clear KPIs; coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Eng, Legal, Security, Customer Success) to accelerate deals and rollouts.
- Negotiate commercial terms and pricing structures to balance customer value and company profitability.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, stage progression, and post-mortem learnings to improve forecasting and repeatability.
- Build and sustain executive-level relationships and influence multi-stakeholder buying committees
- Navigate APAC-specific regulatory, security and procurement processes, including data-residency and infosec reviews.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of complex B2B SaaS sales experience, with a strong track record in APAC enterprise or regulated-industry accounts
- Demonstrated success meeting $1M+ quotas and closing multi-stakeholder, high-value deals (MEDDPICC or similar frameworks a plus).
- Proven ability to sell into senior executives and build multi-threaded strategies across diverse cultures and time zones.
- Strong hunter mentality, disciplined pipeline generation, and experience building business in greenfield or lightly penetrated territories.
- Comfortable translating advanced AI/technical concepts into board-level ROI narratives.
- Startup mindset: autonomous, resilient, adaptable, and energized by being first on the ground.
- Prior experience as an early regional hire or opening a new market is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM/sales tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, etc.) and a data-driven approach to selling.
- Ability to travel within APAC as required and work flexible hours across time zones.
- Experience selling to BFSI clients is a plus.
