The Enrolled Nurse provides safe and quality nursing care to patients/residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes assisting with daily nursing tasks, monitoring patient conditions, supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), and ensuring proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Care
Perform basic nursing procedures (e.g., vital signs, wound dressing, blood glucose monitoring).
Assist in medication serving under supervision and according to nursing standards.
Support Registered Nurse in carrying out nursing interventions and care plans.
Assist in emergency situations (e.g., CPR, first aid).

2. Patient/Resident Support
Assist patients/residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
Feeding
Bathing & grooming
Toileting
Mobility & transfer
Maintain patient hygiene and comfort.

3. Monitoring & Reporting
Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager.
Record and update nursing notes accurately and promptly.
Ensure proper handover between shifts.

4. Safety & Infection Control
Adhere to infection control guidelines and workplace safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and nursing areas.
Participate in audits and safety checks.

5. Communication & Teamwork
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
Support teamwork within the ward/unit.
Participate in meetings, training, and continuing education.

6. Administrative Tasks
Assist in maintaining inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Qualifications
NITEC in Nursing / equivalent qualification.
Valid SNB Enrolment (Singapore).
BCLS/CPR certification (preferred).
