Job Summary
You will design and deliver enrichment programmes, monitor student progress, and mentor staff to ensure high-quality learning experiences that foster active engagement and development in children.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct enrichment programmes such as Speech & Drama, Coding, Mandarin, Sports, holiday programmes, and workshops according to schedule
- Apply diverse teaching methods to stimulate active learning and curiosity among students
- Achieve learning objectives using appropriate teaching resources tailored to student needs
- Track and assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to improve outcomes
- Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and stakeholders to support learning development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and developmental milestones for each student
- Mentor and guide staff and freelance trainers to ensure consistent and quality programme delivery
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety to provide a conducive learning environment
- Follow standard operating procedures to uphold programme and operational standards
- Support administrative tasks and projects led by unit heads to enhance programme effectiveness
- Review and update enrichment curriculum to ensure relevance to preschool and student care requirements
- Support events, campaigns, and projects organized by MERCU and AMP as assigned
- Assist in other programmes as required to meet organizational goals
Required competencies and certifications
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum O Level / Higher NITEC / Diploma in any discipline
- Experience in Early Childhood education is an advantage
- Strong understanding of child development and active learning methodologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently from home and resolve classroom challenges on-site
Other Information
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid Work Setting: Trainers work from home on a rostered basis using company-loaned laptops and communication tools
- Office presence may be required as directed by reporting officers
- On-Site Work: Trainers travel to various sites across Singapore as rostered
- The work environment is active and requires physical stamina classrooms are non-air-conditioned but well-ventilated
