English Tutor ( Upper Primary )

Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic, engaging lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion.
• Design, develop, and adapt teaching materials to support inquiry-based learning and exam preparedness.
• Connect classroom concepts to current events and real-world contexts to enhance relevance.
• Create a safe, supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and grow.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to guide students academic and personal development.
• Build strong rapport with students and communicate effectively with parents when required.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues on lesson planning, training, and curriculum development.
• Participate in centre-wide events, workshops, and initiatives that support student growth and community engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant teaching subject or a closely related discipline.
• Prior teaching experience in MOE schools preferred.
• Genuine passion for teaching and supporting students.
• Dynamic, confident, and approachable personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to work on weekends.
