About the Role
Learning Horizon is seeking a passionate and creative Programme Specialist to oversee the development, coordination, and delivery of English Speech & Drama programmes for preschool children.
This role combines curriculum development, programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, trainer support, and operational coordination to ensure high-quality learning experiences for children.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging Speech & Drama programmes for preschool children.
• Design and review lesson plans and curriculum content to ensure developmental appropriateness and learning effectiveness.
• Conduct trial classes, demonstrations, and programme sessions when required.
• Monitor programme quality and continuously enhance curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of Speech & Drama trainers.
• Coordinate trainer deployment, scheduling, and class coverage.
• Partner with schools, centres, parents, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Support showcases, performances, open houses, roadshows, and parent engagement activities.
• Maintain programme records, trainer performance data, enrolment statistics, and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with child safety, quality, and operational standards.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Speech & Drama, Theatre, Communication Studies, Performing Arts, Early Childhood Education, or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching Speech & Drama, Communication Skills, Performing Arts, or preschool programmes.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred
• Professional qualifications in Speech & Drama, Theatre, Performance, or Communication Skills.
• Experience in curriculum development and programme planning.
• Experience training, coaching, or mentoring educators.
• Familiarity with creative, performance-based, and child-centred teaching approaches.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with design tools or video editing software will be advantageous.
