English Literature Teacher (Secondary School)

Un poste d'enseignant-e de Langue et Littrature anglaises en Section internationale est susceptible dtre vacant au second degr (collge et lyce). Nous accueillons avec intrt les candidatures de professeurs souhaitant s'investir dans les missions suivantes :

MISSIONS

• Enseigner l'anglais et la littrature anglaise au collge et au lyce

• Concevoir et mettre en uvre des situations d'apprentissage ou d'enseignement dans le cadre des programmes et rfrentiels franais

• Transmettre des connaissances disciplinaires

• Concevoir et mettre en uvre des modalits dvaluation des acquis des lves, en liaison avec les autres enseignants ou les partenaires professionnels

• Faire acqurir des comptences incluant des capacits, des attitudes et des savoir-faire

• Matriser la conduite d'une classe et susciter l'intrt et la participation des lves

• Assurer un suivi personnalis des lves en lien avec les familles et participer leur projet d'orientation

• Contribuer au fonctionnement de ltablissement et au travail dquipe

• Adapter son enseignement la diversit des lves en apportant chacun l'appui ncessaire, et mesurer leurs acquis

• Utiliser des technologies de l'information et de la communication au service des apprentissages

• Attribution de fonctions spcifiques (coordination, professeur principal, etc) possible

COMPTENCES, EXPRIENCE ET FORMATION REQUISES

• Anglophone ou bilingue

• Titulaire d'un diplme d'enseignement pour le secondaire

• Matrise de la matire enseigne

• Exprience dans l'enseignement au niveau secondaire (collge et lyce)

• Connaissance du systme ducatif franais souhaite

• Sens de l'organisation et du contact

• Ractivit et disponibilit

• Capacit d'adaptation et bienveillance

• Trs bonne expression crite et orale

• Forte capacit travailler en quipe et s'investir dans des projets

• Exprience en qualit de professeur principal et/ou charg de l'orientation des lves apprcie

• Matrise des outils numriques

• Capacit s'adapter des lves francophones et non francophones

• Capacit assurer un enseignement adapt des lves de profils trs divers

• Capacit travailler de manire transversale et pluridisciplinaire

• La matrise du franais est un avantage pour changer avec les familles et les collgues.

CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL

• Postes temps plein (18 heures /semaine)

• Rmunration base sur le diplme, l'exprience et la grille de salaire de l'IFS

This position is expected to become potentially vacant within secondary school (middle and high school). We welcome applications from teachers eager to commit to the following missions:

MISSIONS

• Conduct English language and English Literature lessons for middle school and high school

• Design and implement learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards

• Convey subject knowledge

• Design and implement assessment methods of student's learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners

• Ensure students acquire skills including capacities, attitudes and procedural knowledge

• Be an expert in the conduct of a class and foster the interest and participation of students

• Provide personalised follow-up of students in relation with families and participate in their orientation project

• Contribute to the school's operation and to teamwork

• Adapt his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and measure their achievements

• Use information and communication technologies to support learnings

• Exercise of specific functions (coordination, form teacher etc.)

SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• English Native speaker

• Recognised qualification in Teaching

• Deep understanding of the subject and the curriculum

• Experience in teaching in Middle and High school is preferable

• Knowledge of the French curriculum is an advantage

• Organisational and interpersonal skills

• Responsiveness and availability

• Adaptability and benevolence

• Very good writing and speaking skills

• Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful

• Experience as a Form teacher and coordination for the students career orientation plan would be strong benefit

• Good knowledge of educational softwares

• Able to adapt to French-speaking and non French-speaking students

• Able to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students

• Able to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way

• A good command of French is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full time position (18h of teaching/week)

• Remuneration will be based on company salary scale
