Job Description & Responsibility:
- Help design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit children's varying needs and abilities.
- Work with small groups to teach specific skills.
- Create teaching aids and set up engaging learning corners.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and age-appropriate classroom.
- Regularly rotate toys, books, and display materials based on the curriculum.
- Clean toys fortnightly and keep the classroom visually updated.
- Promote respectful behavior and maintain classroom discipline.
- Interact with children in a positive and respectful manner.
- Encourage social and emotional development through appropriate communication.
- Keep parents informed about their child's progress through meetings, portfolios, and communication books.
- Arrange and participate in formal and informal parent-teacher interactions as needed.
- Uphold a professional code of conduct in appearance and communication.
- Cooperate with colleagues and maintain respectful relationships with staff and families.
- Participate in all school activities and perform duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirement:
- MUST ECDA L2 certified
- Minimum 1 years of relevant working experience in early childhood education
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching
