Job Description & Requirements
- Carry out design calculations and tasks under the supervision of HDD consultant and Project Manager.
- Review, interpret and write technical reports, construction plans, procedures, risk registers and construction drawings.
- Prepare and update construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare specifications for services and goods, obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, submit purchase requisitions and track.
- Assist with logistics, preparation of project schedules and tracking progress and deliverables.
- Assist with selection of plant, equipment, and materials that meets HDD project and client requirements.
- Drilling data analyses and optimisation.
- Support HDD Superintendent with coordination and completion of field operations.
- Prepare technical queries, deliverables, registers, and reports.
- Perform testing of materials.
- Perform monitoring and reporting of drilling and completion.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to perform quality inspections and assess HSE conformance.
- Work in a safe manner and adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental policies, standards and guidelines.
- Prepare schedules and look-ahead forecasts.
- Assist HDD Superintendent with preparation of daily shift reports.
- Completion of ITPs, ICRs, MDRs and as-built documentation.
- Develop Standard Work Instructions, procedures, and SOPs.
