Engineering Operations Manager

Our client in Singapore is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee operations and maintenance for a flagship mixed-use retail and office property, ensuring optimal performance and tenant satisfaction. Drive tenant engagement through fit-out coordination, handovers, and relationship management, while leading strategic asset enhancement initiatives to elevate long-term value. Candidates should bring over 5 years of property management experience, with a solid grounding in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.

This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational excellence of our retail and office portfolio, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and ongoing improvement across all aspects of property management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily facilities operations, supervise a team of technicians, and enhance maintenance programs for all M&E systems.
• Manage the full tenant lifecyclefrom fit-out planning and execution to fostering strong relationships and delivering a premium tenant experience.
• Contribute to asset enhancement and upgrade projects, supporting the property's long-term appeal and performance.
• Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, consultants, and contractors, ensuring all activities meet safety and compliance standards.
• Continuously improve SOPs, oversee vendor performance, and manage key administrative tasks including procurement and contract administration.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years experience in property or facilities management within commercial or retail settings required.
• Strong technical expertise in building M&E systems, with an Engineering Background required.
• Effective communicator and hands-on leader with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Degree in Estate Management, Building Services, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Proficient in office software; experience with building management systems is a plus.
